This cup has been hand sculpted from black grogged stoneware, giving the outside a textured feel. It has been made to fit the hand, as a celebratory drinking cup. Thus it is five sided, as it the pomegranate it has been shaped from.. Try it, it fits snugly in your palm, and is an intimate way to hold a special drink.
It has been glazed in a Shinto glaze before it’s final firing.
This horse cup has been made from grogged black stoneware, and glazed with a Shinto glaze. It has been marked with my potters mark and is numbered 232. it has been shaped around a pomegranate, and is five sided.
It is 14cm long, 9cm wide, and 10cm tall. It weighs 0.24Kg.
